Experiential learning happens when a learner participates in an activity, processes the activity, identifies useful skills or knowledge and transfers the learning to the workplace or life in general.
Experiential learning activities attempt to imitate daily life experiences.
The Trainer or the facilitator guides the discussion with carefully crafted questions.
Participants experience what they learn before processing or discussing the activity.
Participants share their observations of what happened during the activity.
The key here is to allow participants to be free to think and be creative to explore their potential to communicate effectively.
There is a blended learning through feedback and individual participant coaching led by the Trainer.
As an end result, the participant readily adapts the learning involved and applies it in actual work life.
